• We share the love of Jesus Christ by serving the healthcare, rehabilitative and educational needs of the poor and underserved people of Haiti.
  

• We were established in 1987 as a non-denominational, nonprofit mission organization.
  

• We function as a resource agency, supporting various programs and institutions by providing; 
  

* Financial assistance for operational expenses and capital needs

* Long-term and short-term missionaries

* Medical supplies and equipment

* Regular rotation of doctors, nurses and technicians who work for varying periods of time.

• We ensure all patients are treated without regard to race, religion or their financial resources.
  

• We conduct regional and national fundraising events to underwrite our operation.
  

• Lumiere is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt corporation.
